What are the references and how do they differ?
We offer you three different types of fabric: Vellare, Mollia and cotton.
The Vellare fabric offers you the advantage of being extremely durable. It is tightly woven so that hair from people and animals stays on the surface and does not penetrate the fabric. Safety bonus: The fabric is flame retardant, giving you, your family and friends extra safety.
Our Mollia fabrics are soft and rather velvety. Because the fabric is line woven, many stains can be cleaned with just a damp rag or household cloth. This fabric also declares war on annoying hair. Due to the tight weave, hairs find their way only with difficulty and remain on the surface. Also claws or teeth have no chance with the Mollia fabric.
We also offer you sofa covers made of cotton. You already know how cotton feels against your skin. The fashion industry has been fond of this durable fabric for centuries. Cotton is easy to clean, absorbs odors of your favorite detergent for a long time and is also flame retardant. And this fabric is also suitable for your household with animals.
Tips for the care of removable sofa covers
Our sofa covers are very robust, you can not do much wrong. But so that you have something from our products as long as possible, we have a few tips for you:
The right washing machine program
If the cover is only slightly dirty, you can wash it at 20-30 degrees with a clear conscience. Light stains such as yogurt or dust can be easily removed at 20 degrees and the material is not overstressed. If the fabric is very dirty, you can wash it at 30 degrees. This kills almost all bacteria and thus ensures a little extra cleanliness in your home.
If the fabric only smells unpleasant, for example after smoking a cigarette, then it can be washed at 20 degrees. This program is also recommended so as not to pollute the environment unnecessarily.
How often should I wash the covers?
This is entirely at your discretion. For allergy sufferers, it is recommended to wash the covers once a week. Also, if you have people with sensitive immune systems in your household, you can wash the covers more often to avoid unnecessary risks.
